Inspired by the 1977 Charles and Ray Eames’ film, Powers of Ten, the class Design Across Scales empowers students to work across scales, between disciplines, and beyond expectations.

For an unconventional instrument project, I designed a minimalist string contraption; the pitch of each string can be modulated by bending or sliding along the fretless wooden body. Glass cups underneath produce resonance.
